It's Thursday!

So it's Thursday... that one crazy long day in my week. Sunday is long but not crazy. Friday is crazy but not long. Thursday is both. For a month or so this is how it goes: I get up early (I will not admit how early, lest I get lambasted for labeling it as such) so I can catch a ride to the library with my mom when she takes the little kids to storytime at 9:30. I work on schoolwork until 11:30ish when I go to the staffroom and eat my lunch. At 12:15 my shift starts. So I shelve books and all that good stuff until 5:15. Then I get on the computer until my dad picks me up on his way home from work, at about a quarter to seven. Then a welcome dinner at home. (Thank you Mom!) Last but not least, square dance lessons, where we are Angeling and Laura (and hopefully some friends!) are starting.

Right now I am still on that computer time segment. This will probably be my main posting time (and, as some of you know, my main e-mail time).

  1. It does sound like a long day! Glad you get a chance to talk to the rest of us though hehe. :) Laura did quite well for just starting though my guess is you guys have taught her some stuff. :D

  2. Your guess is right, though she is learning great! I love watching her pick it up. It makes me feel like such an old-timer, though, lol. You guys were picking it up great too, and other people have been telling me so too.

  3. Cool! Yeah, I know what you mean. Part of being the oldest I guess. By the end I felt much more relaxed haha. Next time we should dance last so you don't have to deal with me being all stiff and confused lol. That'll be next Thursday (Oct2nd). Do they teach many new moves each lesson?

  4. Likely not many, if any, this week, as newcomers (like your family!) can still come and join. Typically though they teach 3 or 4 new calls a night... nothing you can't handle.

  5. I'll try asking my family again but sadly no one else seems interested. :( That is good. I should be able to handle that fine (unless it requires some insane amount of cordination and practice like a backflip or something haha). Can't wait! So why didn't you say hi on Skype or something if we were on at the same time? Also I would check your time zone because there is no way I posted at 4:14pm. I'd still be working. That or I'm some how seeing the wrong time...
